Time for Media Reporters /Anchors Term Limits
Look at what is covered in the media. Look at the repetition. When an event occurs, how many times must it be repeated. Re: the shuttle---anybody with two brain cells can see the significance to all fields of science, to national security, to the economy, to the dreams of our youth. Yet not much was mentioned, except too costly, & too dangerous. Look at the development of complex systems in military, loss of crews in development programs are expected. As Krantz said, do you expect to develop a system this complex without loss?
Yet, in general the media fails to report significant issues while pursuing topics to improve their ratings. This results in the public not being exposed to significant issues. Sadly, the space shuttle is an excellent example
