Considering the unique capabilities of this vehicle, the impact on the USA economy, science, security, one would think since 2011 many of the major news papers & networks would have broadcasted many fair & balanced reports on the impact of the shuttle retirement. As DeGrasse has stated many times, the impact is profound, although he is not supporting the shuttle necessarily.
If you observe at what is broadcast on media these days, media has sunk to a new low in so far as keeping the public informed on critical issues.
A change is needed, but not likely to occur!!
