Also the site will be completely unmanned, no electric power, septic tanks will pumped out and filled with dirt, water wells will be plugged, no security AT ALL, 12 antenna 400 foot each, (worth over a million dollars) will be without the maintenance needed to keep up and corrosion will set in within a matter of months and ruin it all. Not to mention the land, there is about 80 acres at the Red River site, it will grow up within a few months. The equipment in the building will be ruin...SOUNDS like WASTE to me!!! They have already laid off two techs. The USAF wants this to fail so they can build the new system,,,that they do not even have the funding for yet! BUT they will get it...they will NEED it because the SPACE FENCE is failing due to the fact they are no longer there! The USAF shut them down! According to ITT contractor engineers (for the fence) the engineers developed a new system to replace the analog channels. The sys was tested at Hawkinsville High Altitude site in Georgia. According to Ted, an engineer, the site was able to see more space debris and satellites than before. These systems are sitting on pallets wrapped on the ITT depot floor, ready to SHIP!
