Thursday, February 12 at 7pm at the Friendswood Public Library:

Author and NASA luminary Glynn Lunney will speak about his book Highways Into Space: A first-hand account of the beginnings of the human space program. 

Glynn Lunney was a Medal of Freedom award winner as part of the Mission Operations Team for Apollo XIII.  Lunney was a major factor in the success of all of the human space activities conducted in the first three decades and particularly in the exemplary work he did as Flight Director for Apollo XIII.
