It is a shame that ESA is pressing ahead, avoiding our mistakes and taking advantage of our lessons learned. A friend of mine who retired from ESA told me that this is the way to go forward – a re-usable launch vehicle. We should be forging ahead in this direction instead of going backwards. A sad waste.
