  1. Laptop Users - Please Initiate Full Data Backup

It is critical that workstations regularly complete a full backup to recover in the event of data loss or corruption.

The Connected Backup Agent is automatically installed on each end user's machine, and data backups are scheduled to occur daily for workstations connected to the NASA network.

Users who take their laptops home are strongly encouraged to manually back up their computers.

The Mobile Information Protection (MIP) Connected Backup User Guide provides complete, detailed instructions to help you manage backups for your workstation:

    • Section 3.1 Windows Users
    • Section 8.1 Mac Users

Back after an 18-month gap! What's a beta angle? If it's so important, how come no one ever does anything about it? Come learn the answer to these and other mysteries.
