In today's issue: Incredibly, disgraced Democratic congressman turned New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has once again been forced to admit to engaging in online sexual escapades.
At the inevitable press conference, Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, literally "stood by her man." Pointing out that Abedin works closely with Hillary Clinton, Savage said that she was probably advised to do just that by the former first lady.
"I think Anthony Weiner is mentally ill," Savage informed his audience, adding:
- We're not supposed to ridicule the mentally ill, so I won't be making any jokes about his name.
Is this the sign of a sane man, let alone who should run for the mayoralty of the biggest city in America?
Here are a few other questions:
Why is New York City unable to produce a mayor of any quality?
Why do people of quality refuse to enter politics?
Why would Anthony Weiner subject himself and his family to such embarrassment in the pursuit of power?
Moreover, what does it say about his wife, Huma, who works for Hillary Clinton, that she's standing right next to him, excusing what he did?
Now you wonder why Benghazi happened.
You know Hillary's handprints are all over this, too.
Huma went to Hillary for advice and Hillary said, "Stand by your man, like I did with Bill. Everything worked out fine. Look where we are today."
America deserves politicians like this. It's disgusting
