We had the greatest capability on earth with the shuttle & with Boeing 's effort on x37c we could get much of it back in a year or two! But, people in congress ( most) act like the space capability is a bunch of crap while LOOK at what we have invested in EO in hardware which is crucial to our economy. But you can get anybody ( at least no enough to get congressional attention) to advocate for absolute EO capability. Why do we have to wait until a Pearl Harbor or 9/11 event to take care of business?
